Analysis:
vera Now there is a lot of mixed feelings I have about this movie but let's analyze how the movie was made. Ashish as a newcomer seems like he can be very promising. There are lots and when I mean lots there are so many flashes of the potential that he has. Ashish in this film excels especially in the emotional scenes in the second half of this film. Anupama on the other hand does well in the role that she is given but we have also seen this role be done many times in her past films. The chemistry between both Ashish and Anupama is a highlight in this film on how natural it was. However, in the first half of the film like always, there are so many lag scenes that talk about the conflict between the colleges that the main internal conflict gets introduced so late in the film that it makes you seem there is no point in the first half. The film really picks up as soon as the two main leads move in together and from there on it is really an emotional film rather than what was showcased before that. The movie then flows on very well up until the breakup portions which are fast-forwarded by two songs and the film ends in a very abrupt way. Another negative portion for this film was the way the film was written. Don't get me wrong but the screenplay was really bad for this film along with the writing. It is almost like the writing is the biggest downside for this film and it restricts it from the potential that it has. On the other hand, visuals by Madhie are as good as they can get. The fact that they were able to rope in one of the best cinematographers helps the film so much on a new level. Along with visuals, the music and background score by DSP is one of the biggest assets for this film as the music clicks in very well for this film and the background score especially in the emotional portions works very well. Overall, this film was made well in some aspects and it comes out as a one-time watch but go ahead and give it a try if you are in for a nice romantic film.
