Analysis:

If you don't know by now, Bangarraju is the sequel to the 2016 film, Soggade Chinni Nayana. Usually, sequels are made spiritually such as Arya 2, 2.0, etc. However, this film is a direct sequel to the first one and it leaves off where it ends right off. From the start of the film, you can sense that a lot of the film was unfinished in parts especially when it comes to the VFX department. The VFX when compared to the first film is a huge letdown and it just does not look good. But looking past that aspect, the first half of the film is as routine as it can get. The only surprise that the viewers get at the start of the first half is the death of Ramya Krishna's character. Other than that a lot of the time the film just goes by at a routine pace. However, in these sequences, the chemistry between Nagarjuna and Ramya Krishna is almost flawless as it is extremely natural. Other than that the essence of Soggade is there. It is almost like this film is a remixed version of Soggade to the point where the conflict is the exact same looking at how a temple is used as the main plot point. Now moving on from that the interval is decently made revealing the first villain of the film.

From there on, the movie picks up the pace and is loaded with emotions. Some dialogues from the second half are written very well along with the scenes in the second half. However, barring a few lag scenes the movie goes through well enough in the second half. The two villains reveals in the second half, however, are pretty well made the first being the Sampath Raj reveal who is shown that he didn't die in the first film and the second coming in the climax. The climax setup is the exact same as how it was in Soggade but now with the addition of the third villain being Rao Ramesh who earlier in the film was panned out to be the really good guy in the village sets up a good climax sequence. With the entry of Nagarjuna's second character, who is the father of Naga Chaitanya in this film, they are able to craft good chemistry between the two which works out well in this fight sequence. At the end of this film, we are given the exact same treatment as the first film but now we have both the souls being able to see their child and grandson and it ends off on a very emotional note that the souls are fully wiped out and will never return.

Other than that, the music composed by Anup Rubens is almost on par with the first part and they are picturized really well on the screen especially Nuvvu Siggupadithe. The background score given by Anup is essentially reused from Soggade but it fits really well in this film. Overall, if you enjoy watching films with your family then this film is the perfect film for you.
